Graduated in Veterinary Medicine from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the Universidade Técnica de Lisboa in 1999. Participated in training internships in internal medicine and cardiology at the Veterinary Cardiorespiratory Center Referrals practice with Dr. Mike Martin in the UK, at the Animal Medical Center in New York (AMC) and at the Gran Sasso Veterinary Clinic in Milan. Since 2004 he has been working exclusively as a referal service to veterinary clinics in the areas of abdominal ultrasound, internal medicine and echocardiography/cardiology.
