Microchipping

Millions of dogs and cats are lost every year. Pets that have microchips can be returned much more quickly and successfully than pets that are not properly identified and registered. The procedure itself is very simple - we inject a microchip (which is the size of a grain of rice) into the loose skin under your pet's shoulders. This microchip is registered in a database along with your address and contact information. Virtually all Veterinary Care Centers and Animal Shelters have a microchip reader. This means that if your companion animal gets lost, when it is found they will be able to contact you quickly. Remember even identified collars are unreliable as they often disappear when animals are lost.
